Developed and integrated Manufacturing Diagnostic tests for a new 24 port SONET line card using Tcl/Tk, LabVIEW and TestStand. The test solution is used to provide hardware design verification of prototypes and is delivered to manufacturing to provide functional verification of final product sold to customer.Developed and integrated Manufacturing Diagnostic tests for T1 and SONET line cards and SONET switch matrix using LabVIEW and proprietary test executive, allowing introduction to manufacturing in time to meet customer commitments.Team provided ongoing support for a MySQL database. The database provided limits and parameters to diagnostic tests, as well as the logging of test results.

Developed tools to automatically detect, and in some cases correct, database and programming errors for new releases of test software.Reduced factory downtime due to product changes by providing ongoing factory support for proprietary test executive.

Helped support hardware R&D by writing and verifying software to test all features of newly designed telecomm cards.Developed and supported a test executive written in C, as opposed to assembler, which increased the development cycle.Supported in-house development of z8000 assembler library used by diagnostic test programs.
