In the Senior Engineer capacity, I am challenged to lead the Mixing and Coating production engineering efforts. In my role as Production Engineer for LG Chem, I have made a significant impact in the startup of a production line for producing technologically advanced Li-ion batteries. I am the site engineer for a multi-million dollar solvent recovery process. I received operations training in South Korea and led the startup of absorption and distillation processes as the site expert for said processes. I am directly responsible for over $20MM worth of equipment, instruments, and piping, and lead initiatives for project, process, and production engineering scopes for these processes.I serve as the liaison between the Safety, Health, and Environmental department and the Electrode department, keeping both "in the know" about key issues of this regard.

While serving as an intern through the summer and school year, I managed to produce positive effects at Cytec, while gaining the trust and respect of many of my colleagues and unionized operators. I scoped, engineered, and sourced a vessel cooling device for polymer process, performed a product "color" variance investigation to reduce costs associated with product rejects, resolved issues concerning test equipment (GC,AA units) used in intermediate and final product testing, and validated 100+ non-wired instruments during the commissioning process of a $10MM+ expansion project Contacting vendors, interfacing with operators and colleagues, and creating capital project write-ups are inclusive.

At Trelleborg, I produced 1000s of high quality prototypes of rubber and polyurethane injected parts for the automotive industry. Cure tests, titrations, and correct material injection for given parts and materials were needed to reduce parts waste and rework.
