When did you arrive at Cornerstone Wealth Management? Why did you come here?I started my career in 1983 with a large National brokerage firm. In the Spring of 1993, I founded what has now become Cornerstone Wealth Management, Inc. an independent Financial Advisor and Wealth Manager company.What are you known for professionally at CWM? What do you have a knack for?As a Certified Financial Planner™ and Accredited Investment Fiduciary® we do not offer any proprietary products. That means we always put our client’s best interest first and foremost. My greatest knack is for taking the complicated world of finances and making it relevant and easy to understand.What's the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?Helping clients align their goals with their values. Many people have a rough idea of what they want, but often times haven't thought through or know how to get there. I really enjoy being a problem solver!How do you work with clients?We are experienced financial professionals that strive to add value in more than just managing assets. We often times use our "Return on Life" process to help our clients see far beyond the graphs, charts and percentages.What are you most passionate about professionally?I'm so excited to be in an industry where I get to work hands on with people to help shape their lives. (and often times the lives of several generations) Wealth and money management is very important, it's the hard work and planning that I love the most! It's a comfortable retirement, the excitement of family weddings, college education or that special anniversary trip you always promised your spouse are goals we strive to achieve. Return On Life dividends far outweigh an extra zero on you balance sheet.Where can we find you when you're not working?Personally, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and I laugh a lot! A happy heart is good for your soul! I love being active and enjoy almost anything with an "ing" boating, running, biking, paddling, skiing and fishing ... (Oh yeah, eating ... LOL).Any volunteer activities or non-profits you're crazy about, & why?I've served as Chairman on several charity boards through the years. Local Hospice, Lighthouse for the Blind and my church finance committee to name a few.
