Working in CareAware Event Management team which handles processing of events from several medical devices and systems and routes them to consumer applications so that users can take action for those events.

• Developed a RESTful web service using Jersey to accept a JSON payload from external systems to integrate with Event Routing. Each request is converted to an event and routed to consumer systems based on rules configured.• Identified and resolved service bottlenecks, reducing event processing time from 45 sec to under 9 sec. • Performed test driven development using JUnit, Mockito and PowerMock for unit tests and Cucumber for functional tests.• Developed RESTful services using Spring Boot and deployed in cloud environments using Spinnaker and Kubernetes.• Actively participated in Org Hackathon and won twice – High Developer Impact and High Client Impact.

I am a graduate teaching assistant for the course Computing Capstone Project. The course is intended for the senior software engineering students as a final capstone project. My responsibilities include assisting students with the initial planning phase, guide them through proper documentation, help them implement their design and make sure they have proper test cases.

A project with the goal of developing a web portal for clinicians and physicians to help them visualize data. The portal enabled the end users to create apps( which includes individual components such as medication, patients, encounter and many more).
