• Lead project engineer and commissioning agent for a complete HVAC controls replacement for a 26-story high rise in San Francisco resulting in $350,000+ annual energy savings with a 2.5-year payback with increased occupant safety and comfort. • Designed, specified, and tested cooling towers, chillers, boilers, pumps, air handlers, terminal units, DOAS units, control valves, heat recovery systems, hazardous exhaust systems, and HVAC controls.• Implemented new company standard to document site conditions and construction progress using 360 cameras and AI mapping software improving the input data quality and saving the company countless hours from avoided site revisits.

I developed construction designs for some of the highest performing buildings on the planet. I provided input on all project levels from ideation to performance analysis to construction documentation bringing a desire for high performance to reality. I work directly with clients, collect, analyze and visualize useful data, model integrated systems, develop concepts designs, confirm compliance with energy codes, document construction designs, and verify installation & operations of many designs. My experience is within biotech, research, high tech process, mission critical, healthcare, higher education and office design. While at AEI, I successfully innovated new techniques for early and rapid design analysis saving over 80% of the hours previously required for the same tasks which has saved us of thousands of dollars in analysis and design. These innovations allow our customers to enjoy a deeper understanding of their project to better know the risks and benefits of a high performing design while at the same time allowing for a more focused design to fully develop the best ideas possible. I am pioneering novel ways to collect, analyze and visualize data that allows my team to beautifully understand our design and environments.

While an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, I assisted in the measurement and verification for the new Clough undergraduate learning commons. I measured and collected actual building energy usage to compare to baseline design energy models.

I reported directly to the lead design engineer and project manager to assist in the daily operation of the design team with minimal direct supervision. During my two internships, I developed an entire detailed energy load model using Trane TRACE for a new 250,000 SF sustainable hospital in an ASHRAE 1A climate zone. I was also responsible for preliminary equipment submittals review for a LEED Platinum 230,000 SF university laboratory. I gained valuable real-world experience with AutoCAD and Revit within a top notch business environment.

I loved this job.I worked with customers and their bikes to ensure a satisfactory experience from start to finish. Along with mechanic duties, I provided new customers with insight and guidance on bicycle and equipment purchases.

I also pioneered the method for digitizing evidence film for attorneys to use in trial.
