I like working with my hands to build things. Working with my hands on wood, metals, and wiring was very fun. However, as I grew older, I wanted to be part of what has made our lives so efficient and made the world a global village – the internet and software. I remember my first few lectures on Java programming by Tim Buchalka on Udemy. I loved it as it planted a new drive for me to pursue a career in software development. As the years passed by, I have learned new technologies and gained hands-on experience through education and personal projects.It gives me a great deal of satisfaction to spend time trying to make a code work as it is required and even more so when it does. As I “watch” my code retrieves data from the database, display results from an API in a user-friendly way, displays added features, commits it to the remote repository, and stuffs like these, it makes working on a project and the challenges experienced worth the time. That is my drive – I got it working.Throughout my journey so far, I have worked on projects and picked up special skills like JavaScript, React.JS, Html5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind, Java, C#, Ruby on Rails, PHP, SQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Node.JS, Express.JS, Mongoose, Python, Amazon Web Services and effective written and oral communication. Currently, I am self-training to become a developer on AWS. I want to implement the knowledge acquired in any app I will work on after the completion and certification as an AWS developer.
