Principal Functions • Assist in collecting outstanding Accounts Receivable.• Provide analysis & review of monthly revenue recognition for the unit.• Prepare invoices, ensuring they reconcile to revenue & system reports, reviewing Support documentation, obtain project officers approval & send to the client in a timely Fashion.• Process & review travel expenses related to the unit.• Prepare final invoice package containing draft & final invoices for all billable contracts, Including all applicable backup for approval by the accounting supervisor.• Assess & pursue opportunities for maximization of client billing, communicate with the CFO, as to your observations & actions taken.• Maintain the billing folders for all contracts, with all the appropriate documents• Expenses, consultant invoices, & monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures.• Work with the cash receipts team member to reconcile variances that occur in the Application of cash.• Generate & distribute bi-monthly receivables reports & monthly profitability reports.• Review weekly time sheets, along with the accounting group• Monthly analyze the profit & loss accounts monthly, as directed by the accounting• Preparation of Variance Reports (Monitoring Budget against Actual).• Monitoring Cash Flow.• Dealing with Taxation related issues – WHT, VAT, P.A.Y.E, Pension Fund.• Banking Relations.• Relates with Statutory Auditors.• Managing the Assets and Inventory of the unit.• Monitoring staff loans and advances.• Preparing Bank Reconciliation Statement.• Reviewing Bank Charges and Interests on loans charged to the Company Accounts by the banks• Determine on a daily basis the financial status of the company.• Managing Accounts Payable.

•• Maintain proper accounting entries / records. Ensures correct input on sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, receivable and inventory.• Maintain detailed reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts of assigned branches.• Responsibility over cash movement in / out and spot-checking. Responsibility over banking transactions and preparation of bank reconciliation.• Perform month end expense review to ensure data input accuracy and provide commentary on key activity • Assist with posting of activity from expense reporting system and other accounts payable, as needed • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting processes • Compile documentation for internal audit related requests • Participate on process improvement projects
