While working as product testing at Qualcomm Semiconductor, the end product is fingerprint sensor. Job function is mainly to ensure products launching into production smoothly, bring-up new customers/ suppliers, help process team to narrow down process issues through big data analysis, etc. Started working in Shenzhen, China office and transferred back to Hsinchu, Taiwan office due to pandemic. Reported to Principle of Engineering in PTE. o Business Development: Supported products into MP phase for 6+ customers; 20+ projects in China, Korea and Taiwan. Supported module manufacturing sites (10+) and customers’ phone manufacturing sites (10+) in China (mainly) and Taiwan. o Product Development: Engaged with new suppliers and customers for guiding and training on testing 3D sonic fingerprint know-how. Communicated and guided for testing hardware (e.g., equipment, material, reference design ATE, test-board, etc.) and testing software (e.g., usage, method, principle, setup, details of test items, etc.). Creating guideline to assistant external and internal (customer facing engineers, e.g., SQE, CQE, CE, REL, etc.) to build up their own or utilize existing testing software and equipment. o Tools & Analysis Development: Frequently used analysis tools including JMP and Exensio platform to monitor and review the test stability, correlation among different sites, GR&R for new sites or new test hardware especially. For regular or frequent review cases, would use Script to check it regularly. Most of time would use Cygwin/ Shell Script to sort data into certain formats for further deep dive analysis. Occasionally would apply Excel Macro or Python for supporting purpose. o Technical Writing: Tech instructions or SOP for designing or application.

Worked as an applications engineer and response for display modules, named Mirasol (including different sizes like 1.2” bicorn, 1.4” QCIF, 5.7” XGA, 1.5” 192x288). Reported to Director of Application Engineering in Business Development. o Product Development & Design: Communicated and coordinated in between internal engineers and external customers about spec to design Mirasol into different products including watches, eReaders and tablets products. Succeeded to have Mirasol designed into customers’ systems (Android 2.2, 2.3, 4.2, closed systems) and lunched to market. Includes 5-18 months project lifecycle management. o Business Development: Introduced Mirasol to many companies (30+), including tier 1s, all over Asia. Engaged accounts including own brand companies (10+) from Japan/Taiwan/China and Taiwanese/Chinese ODMs/OEMs. Supported global trade shows (8+), including CES and other computer/display related, in Taiwan/China/Korea/Japan, customer design wins and commercial efforts. o Tools Development: Customized project management tools (Including SalesForce, JIRA) for different projects and assistanted different groups of team to utilize for checking project progress, reporting & following up case/bug fixing status, issues discussion and etc. o Technical Writing: Customer facing specs, tech presentation slides and tech instructions for designing or application.

Work as an applications engineer and response for circuit simulator.o Software Testing & Development: Setup specific test environment f and built up specific test cases (with SPICE format) for EDA simulator, MSIM / TBMSIM, in UNIX / LINUX environment. Results are posted as text, HTML / PHP format, including versions comparison. GUI tool built up for another product, CHAR-FLO CELL, by using WXWIDGETS (C++ language format). o Technical Writing: Customer facing specs, user manuals. o Business Development: Pre-sales, spec discussion and product promotion to circuit designing companies and semiconductor foundry modeling designing team.
