I'm an experienced data scientist and have specialisms in efficient algorithm design and empirical dataset analysis. My latest project is about last-mile logistics with crowdsourced workers, which aims to mitigate fluctuating demands and to incorporate workers' spatiotemporal preferences. I had defined this complex crowdsourced delivery problem in a mathematical form and applied Lagrangian Relaxation, a decomposition technique, to deal with large scale problem instances. Algorithms based on advanced optimization techniques such as Column Generation and Branch-and-Cut had been developed and implemented in C++ for the sake of performance and production. I have also worked on various projects which have allowed me to develop a robust and varied skillset. My first choice when it comes to implementing any ideas is Python. This scripting language gives me the power to develop prototypes quickly and to utilize useful libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib. I can also integrate optimization solvers (e.g., CPLEX and Gurobi) and Business Intelligence software with Python codes effortlessly and seamlessly. Additionally, as a researcher, I am quite used to abstracting the main requirements of a research project, modeling a problem in a mathematical form, and delivering results that can be comprehended by out of research groups.For ten years, I have been developing algorithms, simulators, and visualization tools. I'm extremely dedicated to my profession, and I ensure that my projects are delivered to a high standard and on time. Most of all, I'm a self-starter and incredibly motivated. I always rise to challenges, and I am a resilient and seasoned problem solver. Although I have developed many practical applications of my research while in academia, I am keen to continue to apply my skills and knowledge in the commercial logistic sector to ensure that my employer has the best available algorithmic and data science pipelines to ensure maximum efficiency.
