1. Spearheaded the development of the Reconciliation Automation Platform.(Enterprise is Afterpay's core revenue generator. After 2021, enterprises like Gap, Lululemon, BBB, etc start using Afterpay through Marqeta virtual credit card solution. Automate the post order settlement process become high priority.)- Initiated and directed the Afterpay Enterprise Settlement Project.- Architected solutions for Marqeta interchange fee processing, order retrieval, merchant fee calculations, invoice generation, bank-file creation, and comprehensive system monitoring.- Led a team of three to implement the complete system, catering to Afterpay's Enterprise partners with over 100,000 daily orders and ensuring timely daily, weekly, and monthly settlements.2. Core expert of the Afterpay Pay Monthly project(After 2022, Afterpay initiated the interest-bearing product Pay Monthly to reduce the business impact of high FED rate. )- Design and implement the Loan Calculator, the core of the loan management.- Implement the stack for Calculator testing, CI/CD and evalution, which required by auditing department to help evaluate and monitoring the impact of each version of algorithm iteration

Founding engineer of the US engineering team when Afterpay initiate to explore the US market. 1. Lead the project of checkout flow optimization(When launching in US, GMV increasing is the first priority for the company, besides new customer acquisition, improving the user retention with seamless checkout process is also critical)- Learned and participated the customer interviews for collecting existing pain points on Afterpay checkout and find define the problems we are going to solve.- Working with data analyst Leveraging logging and Amplitude data to verify the impact of each problems and sorting out the priorities- Lead a 2 people team implement the solution for redesign the login checking procedure during the checkout, reduce frictions and optimize the user experience- The checkout flow redesign reduced 10% checkout abandon rate which brings 25k GMV everyday globally. 2.Built the Afterpay's first marketing data pipeline(To empower the marketing team creating more personalized campaigns we initiate this project)- Design and implement the data pipeline between AWS Redshift and CRM platform Leanplum, bumping customer profiles, order infos, payments to Leanplum, so that Marketing team can have the scope on every customer behavior so that more smart and personalized campaigns can be created.- The pipeline helps marketing team convert large campaigns every week to more customized small campaigns everydays targeting different group of custimers, which increase the GMV conversion over 1 million after the first month of launch

We are providing computational capability for the future of urban transportation.The Compute Platform Team is building the orchestration layer for Uber’s datacenters. We runthe “private cloud” for Uber infrastructure, and our vision is to be able to run everything(including stateless, stateful and batch workloads) on a shared platform efficiently and reliably.The team brought container infrastructure to Uber and has drastically changed the way howapplications are run. Right now we are leveraging open source technologies and working on thenext generation of scheduling / containerization / automation solutions to manage massivelylarge datacenters.We’ve already built the foundational components of a cohesive, loosely coupled service-oriented architecture. What’s next is to build new infrastructure platforms on top of this groundwork and transition existing services to them. This architecture needs to propel us into a future of 10x growth — an infrastructure scale only few companies can boast of.
