Hi, I am KuanYu Chu! I love to combine theory with practice. Jobs contain both research and coding are most attractive to me.For the engineering side, I love to learn know technologies and read their source codes if I have time.I mainly focus on big-data analysis tools, architecture design, and system optimization, which involve many open-source frameworks, like Spark, Cassandra, Flink, Hbase, ... In terms of my research interests, I like things related to machine learning, including:.Deep learning/neural network (LSTM, RNN, CNN, AutoEncoder, ...).Indexing, searching and classification.Machine learning and probabilistic graphical modeling.Data mining and analysisHONORS.Won the championship in the industrial track of ACM Multimedia 2013 Bing challange.Received honorary membership of Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society in 2011.Received 8 Presidential Awards (ranked top 5% for each semester) in NTU in my college life.Rank 1st out of 125 students in CS department in my college life..Attended Taiwan Olympiad in Informatics and was recommended to the computer science department of NTUPUBLICATIONS[1] Kuan-Yu Chu, Yin-Hsi Kuo, Winston H.
