I am a Professional Engineer in Mechanical discipline with 10 years of working experience in O&G and power industry, as maintenance engineer and project manager. Switching from engineering-practicing environment to education, I have served Curtin University Malaysia for more than 12 years, building my academic career in both teaching and research.I am a certified Project Management Professional, who have vast experience in leading work improvement project teams, in both industry and university environment. I am effective in managing collaborations involving multiple stakeholders, which is proven in industrial-link projects that I have completed, as well as my appointment as the Associate Dean of External Engagement for the Faculty of Engineering and Science.I love teaching and appreciate my role as an educator to share knowledge, to coach and to inspire. Coming from the industry, I enjoy guiding students to relate knowledge learned in classroom to real-life applications. I was awarded the Fellowships of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and received Curtin Student Choice Awards in 2020 and 2021.I completed my PhD in Engineering under the Curtin Offshore Partners Research Scholarships. My research areas cover Sustainability Assessment, Cleaner Production, Energy Efficiency, and Eco-design.
