Recently added "Teen Domesitic Violence Awarenss.These programs address the importance of health and Self Awareness we also provide information and workshops on young women's health issues, young men's health issues, preventive health screenings, and other chronic debilitating health problems. Our Health Awareness and Prevention Program will also offer support groups and referrals for other health institutions. We will be the liaison between; various community service providers, advocates, educators and you, thus empowering young adults, families and their communities on good health care, better health facilities, lowering the cost of treatment and counseling and addressing the risk of unprotected sex and sexually transmitted diseases (STD's) in conjunction with HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention.The purpose of these programs is to uplift and bring awareness to the Urban underground community by providing its individuals the opportunity to achieve seemingly impossible goals. This program will promote youth and displaced adults, development with the ultimate goal of assisting them to become healthy, responsible, and caring residents.We intend to offer a wide range of diverse programs that will provide the youth/displaced adults w/services and support necessary to improve academic performance; enter college/advanced training programs; develop leadership skills; develop conflict resolution and mediation skills; develop pre-employment skills and obtain employment; develop parenting and independent living skills; and acquire knowledge and skills as alternatives to violence.Services will focus on Awareness and Prevention.
