CurrentFilm scenes and events ranging from documentaries, commercials, corporate events,weddings, and live showsCoordinate with the sound department to ensure synchronization of audio and videoDirect lighting and rigging teams to achieve the desired lighting and camera movementWork closely with the editor or colorist to ensure the visual tone and style are consistent withthe initial visionCreate shot lists and storyboards in coordination with the directorControl Light Quality and Intensity: Modify the intensity, color, and direction of light using tools like dimmers, gels, and diffusion to shape the light for creative effect.Manage Power Distribution: Ensure that all lighting equipment is safely connected to power sources, monitoring power loads and using generators or distribution boards when necessary.Work with Grip Department: Coordinate with the grip team to position lighting stands, flags, diffusers, and other accessories that control light direction and shadows.Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure all lighting setups are safe, adhering to health and safety guidelines on set, especially with heavy or high-hanging equipment.Adapt to Scene Changes: Quickly adapt lighting setups for new shots or scene changes, adjusting for camera movements or actor positioning without interrupting the flow of production.
