I am a second-year Biotechnology Technician student at Conestoga College. The Biotechnology Technician program has allowed me to get a better understanding of the field by allowing me to get the hands-on skills required for the field, along with the theoretical knowledge needed to solve problems quickly and in a timely matter. I have past work experience in a wide variety of fields in the working industry. I've had the opportunity to work in different countries, such as St. Marteen, which has led me to have an open-minded approach to new ideas or problems that need to be solved. These skills have provided me with knowledge and experience with working independently, working with a team, getting a job done in a professional matter, completing a job to meet deadlines and adapting to new situations and overcoming them by problem-solving.The future career I am looking to acquire is to become a Chemist or a Biologist. These fields have drawn my interest because it has the capabilities to make such a drastic change for humanity and our world with a small change.
