From April to September 2022, I was employed on a six month Kickstart Placement with the London Borough of Sutton as a Community Safety Assistant. This provided me with an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience in a busy working environment, working in a team, whilst focusing on supporting the needs of internal and external clients. From October 2017 to November 2018, I worked for the Visitor and Retail Services in the House of Commons, where I effectively managed daily tour co-ordination of visitor groups in Westminster Hall on a rotational basis and dealt with any issues arising. Furthermore, I ensured that telephone enquiries were answered promptly between 9am and 5pm each weekday. Also, I responded to email enquiries, processed, checked and cross-referenced booking information and documentation, assisted in all aspects of implementation of a new booking system and liaised with key stakeholders across Parliament including Visitor Assistants and Security regarding visitor attendance and access to line of route. Finally, I assisted with MPs' Tours and school visits to Parliament.
