Sole Product Designer at Quantum360, based out of Singapore.Quantum360 is a small Human Insights and Design Solutions start-up by Quantum Consumer Solutions, based out of Singapore. We partner with clients to innovate within the design space. Whether that is a physical product concept for white goods or a new digital banking solution, we use a unique combination of anthropology and design to unravel deep insights, identify opportunities and design human centred products, brand and service solutions.Our work takes a human centred approach where we conduct on the ground research with consumers to establish both empathy and the core cultural values and beliefs that drive human mind-sets within the intended country or community. With these human insights we develop new products, brands and business models that improve consumers quality of life and ultimately change their attitudes or behaviours towards the product in question.My current role as the sole designer at Quantum360 is to lead the design and prototype stages of our creative process. This includes work across the entire design process from in field consumer work to the development of design concepts and prototypes for numerous clients. As well as designing 360s own product offerings, I also create stimulus for, and facilitate, creative design labs with several clients.

My role as Design Engineer involved the development of sensor systems for the Dyson 360 Eye™ robot vacuum cleaner and a new category product which has yet to be announced. This involved the development of both visual product schemes and internal technologies, prototype design and production, design of testing and validation methods, test rigs and electronic based testing apparatus.My work on the Dyson 360 Eye™ robot vacuum cleaner involved the design and development of the navigation sensor systems. I developed the sensors on the robots front which allow it to determine its surroundings and navigate accordingly, thus avoiding obstacles. My work also included the development of the IEC required drop/ cliff sensors which determine if drops or stairs are in the robots path, allowing it to avoid them as necessary.
