As a service engineer at Tekno Surgical, I specialize in the maintenance and servicing of advanced medical devices used in healthcare settings. With a solid educational background from Munster Technological University (MTU) Cork in Biomedical Engineering, I am committed to ensuring medical equipment performs optimally to support efficient and accurate patient care.I am actively expanding my knowledge in the medical technology field, learning about the latest innovations and devices to stay at the forefront of the industry. My focus is on providing top-notch service, reducing equipment downtime, and ensuring that healthcare providers can rely on their technology to deliver the best outcomes for their patients.I completed my Co-Op placement in Carbery Foods, where I worked closely with the maintenance team to assist fitters and electricians, ensuring smooth operations. I also contributed by enhancing the company’s software with updated process line assets, streamlining workflows for the maintenance team.In addition to my maintenance experience, I have a background in manufacturing with Containment Service Providers (CSP) Ltd, where I was involved in producing flexible intermediate bulk containers. My work extended to Boston Scientific, where I contributed to projects focused on total peripheral intervention. During my time at CSP, I completed my thesis on manufacturing devices for bulk containers, implementing improvements that reduced production time for each unit.Outside of work, I enjoy staying active by playing hurling and going to the gym, which helps me maintain a balanced and focused approach to both my personal and professional life.
