My main goal in this job was endeavouring to provide as pleasant a cinema experience as I could to our customer base. This involved greeting them in a friendly manner and dealing with their order promptly and accurately. My main duties involved serving food and drinks, checking tickets, directing people to their screens/seats, cleaning, waste disposal, assisting with the ejection of those impeding the enjoyment of the films and making popcorn. A major success for me in this job was getting mentioned by name in an email to the cinema saying that I'd really enhanced their cinema experience. Another one was getting a personal gift from a customer on my last day. It may seem hyperbolic to call these "major" successes but they meant a lot to me and let me know that I was achieving what I set out to achieve.

My major duty as part of the Student Accounts team was to contact potential clients who had shown an interest in setting up an account, and to convince them to set one up with KBC. I would then talk them through the account creation on the phone, onboard the account in our system and make them aware of the essential accepted documentation required for opening a bank account; following up with them periodically until the conditions had been met to create the account. My other duties included AML document reviewing, data input, market research, in-person marketing, admin and customer support in account creation.My major successes while working in this position were:- Far surpassing our "new accounts opened" goal set out at the start of the year by our team leader.- Breaking the record for the most new accounts in a single work week on two separate occasions by securing 72 and then 76 new accounts. (The previous record had been 50). - Being given responsibility of a highly critical compliance letter retrieval project. - Convincing many college students in person to set up an account with KBC over one of our far more well known competitors.

I worked for David Ebbs and Co., a chartered accountants company where I was given the responsibility of transferring the various clients to the correct department via phone, scanning and storing critical payroll files and past correspondences, correspondence distribution, filling out various spreadsheets and fixing and maintaining the printer.
