As an intern for LeaderTreks, I ran mission trips throughout the summer. My trip leader and I were stationed in Dayton, Ohio and we had a new group of 15-30 kids each week. We would lead them through the weeks schedule, teach them how to cook and clean, assist in work-site or ministry duties, build relationships with them, make quick decisions to solve problems, and alter the schedule according to conflicts or the youth leaders preference. My trip leader handed over more and more leadership tasks as the summer progressed, until I eventually co-lead the last two weeks with another intern in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Fire Lake Soapery is a small business where we created all-natural soap bars, candles, cleaning sprays, and much more. The focus was on creating clean products to keep you and your skin healthy. My role required me to assist customers with questions and issues, perfectly pack and ship out orders, work with a team to efficiently get tasks accomplished, and create quality products to sale.
