As Datamine's content creator and copywriter, I was responsible for the company's blog content, whitepapers, LinkedIn posts, website content, and eDMs. I also created and managed its Founder brand strategy and content. A critical focus of my role was to translate technical speak into language that was not only easy to understand, but enticing enough for the reader to develop an interest in the possibilities of data analytics.

In this role, I wrote SEO content for clients' websites, and when other content writers were hired, I helped to train them. This required exceptional time management, an ability to dive into varying clients' requirements, a thorough understanding of SEO, plus skills in tools like Chat GPT, Page Optimiser Pro, and Surfer SEO.

As a Project Manager, I liaised between clients, the sales team, designers, and web developers, to ensure clients' websites were created on time and in full alignment with their vision. This role required an ability to thoroughly understand clients' ideas and translate those into website design methodologies.

Dev Academy Aotearoa is a course that took me from knowing nothing about code to becoming a full stack web developer in the space of four months. This was an intense, demanding experience where I not only learned multiple coding languages including JavaScript, React.js, Three.js, and Redux.js, but I also had the opportunity to significantly enhance my personal and human skills.For my final group project, myself and three others created a 3D soundscape where a user can navigate through and interact with several dozen cubes, each of which has a corresponding native bird sound - all in the space of a week. I had to learn how to use Three.Js and React Three Fiber in a few days to help make this project happen. I loved the opportunity to work with other highly creative people with as much passion for the project as I do.

This was my part time job while I completed my degree. I worked privately for one family and helped their child with learning and speech difficulties foster his communication skills, learn to enjoy learning, and build confidence engaging in a wide range of activities. I am extremely proud to have had an active role in this child's growth.
