Managing the strategy business unit, ensuring productivity and quality is high. Supporting the delivery of client work through leading strategy workshops, creating and implementing strategic processes as well as operational processes across the business with the goal of providing better insights into time management, running costs and capacity planning. I am responsible for ensuring client’s goals and expectations are met via the account strategists in my team and I am the point of escalation for any issues which may arise within this business unit.

Working within a small organisation where I am a confident communicator as the single member of the Marketing department reporting directly to the head of the company. My main responsibilities include:• The ongoing project management and development of the company’s website including the Search Engine Optimization process and working alongside an outsourced website designer. • Brand development of the company and new product integration including liaising with a graphic designer.• Management and development of all social media networks. • Preparing press releases and advertisements for all marketing communications both on and offline. • Working the stand for exhibitions shows such as Grand Designs and The Ideal Home Show.• Customer service and assisting the sales team. • General administration duties.Since joining the company I have developed a good knowledge and understanding of the industry and keep up to date with the ever changing market to produce the right marketing communications for each part of the year. This position has improved my understanding of ROI and analysis of all campaigns, as well as develop my experience in a busy office environment.

Working as a door to door fundraiser helping to raise money for a number of charities. This involved learning large amounts of information on a particular charity and holding the home owners attention in order to sign them up as donors. From this summer job I was able to improve my interpersonal skills as I needed to create a connection with the donors as well as my communication skills as I had to deliver a considerable amount of information in a small amount of time.

Mainly business to business direct marketing. This involves going out and creating client relationships for a brand awareness for new products. I am gained experience in the sales market and learning leadership skills with this management training company.

Food and Beverage Host within the bar at Thorpe Park. This included preparing and serving food and working behind the bar serving drinks. We needed to work together as a team so that the customers were served quickly this meant that we needed to keep an eye on which area needed the most staff throughout the day so that food was brought out quickly, orders were taken promptly and drinks were made efficiently. From this I learnt how to prioritize tasks and think quickly on my feet.
