I currently run the cash register during transactions, along with placing supply orders for the store and filling/facing shelves. I help to run supply trucks when they are received at the store. I fill in in the deli department as needed whereI help the manager to run the daily operations of the deli. We slice meats and cheeses to order, as well as fry chicken and other foods, and stock bakery items. Customer service is a big aspect of this job. As a manager I now open and close the store, do the daily books and deposits. Make bank runs for any money we need and find replacements for absent associates. I figure alcohol prices and check in vendors bringing in goods to the store.

I help the freight team to unload, sort, and run the freight that the store receives. I also help with department resets, and store wide price changes. I help customers when they have questions or are in need of anything.
