•I had many responsibilities in the shop from looking after customers at the till, the deli and on the forecourt to ensure all their needs were met. I am responsible for ensuring all opening and closing procedures are complied with on my shift.• I completed all the morning reports, book in deliveries and ensure all important documents are reported in the absence of a manager.• Within my first month working in this position I was made key holder and was trained as supervisor.• I was given the opportunity to train new staff members in the different procedures of opening and closing the shop. I train new staff in the health and safety guidelines of the deli while keeping a high standard of cleanliness as outlined in the company policy.

My responsibilities would include setting up the till for the start of the business day and cashing up at the end of the day.• I worked on every aspect of the shop when it came to dealing with customers, suppliers, cash in transit and all general day to day activities, including shop maintenance.• I enjoyed working there and I worked well with all of my colleagues.
