Working a busy Bar/Delicatessen home to a strong sense of community. The bar was host to many regulars and introduced me to the concept of creating strong relationships with the customer, creating memorable experiences, and providing them with world class care. The bar also had a strong grasp on sustainability, growing and creating much of its produce on site, and creating life cycle analyses of our reusable and recyclable products.

In my spare time, I reach out to and have regularly scheduled phone calls with an isolated elderly member of the community, with the aim of creating connections and reducing their feelings of isolation.

Responsible for the running and ensuring the success of the business and providing excellent customer service. Working both independently and as a team to answer customer queries, handle purchases using the electronic till, handle food and drink, ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises and responsible for opening and closing procedures including cash handling responsibilities.
