I provide on-going psychoeducation to domestic violence survivors in an open group setting through research-based weekly curriculum specific to client needs.From April 2017 to June 2017 I was in the role of counseling intern in at Sable House in addition to my other internship. During that time I designed group therapy curriculum (including art therapy and experiential activities) to foster improved self-efficacy and healing after domestic violence, composed HIPPA compliant records system and therapy forms, and facilitated closed group therapy.

Completed clinical internship for graduate program with the Student Health and Counseling Center. The duties encompassed in the internship were as follows: conducted individual and conjoint counseling sessions with a diverse population of registered students, performed crisis assessments and intake interviews, as well as crisis counseling sessions as needed, completed mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for short and long term clients, and managed a full caseload including appropriate charting and documentation procedures. I also was able to collaborate with community and campus partners to meet client needs and provide psycho-education.
