In this creative internship, my team designed a website for Black Dog Institute and SPHERE (Sydney Partnership of Health, Education, Research and Enterprise). The website is called 'Sphere In The Know', and promotes more effective communication between various medical professionals. In this experience, we were briefed to improve Telstra's diversity and inclusion plan by making their organization more accessible. We created a central platform that harnessed lateral transdisciplinarity and transparency within Telstra. This would allow for individuals to upskill much more effectively and easily within the organization while removing the inherent bias that is associated with role to role-based upskilling. Now, every member of the organization from Admin to Engineers have the opportunity to learn and upskill in whichever field they desire.

Our brief was to make public transport more accessible and inclusive, as well as the desired choice for travel. My team chose to focus on accessibility, and more specifically the issue of priority seating. We created a social campaign called 'Flip It Up', with banners and posters, shareable social media posts, and an animated video. A simple concept with a powerful impact.

I worked within both the Marketing and 'On-Demand' departments, assisting with market research and interviews, as well as brainstorming and prototyping features for their 'On-Demand' service.

In this creative internship, we were briefed to strategize and assist in making Sydney Olympic Park more accessible and sustainable. Following our research, we reimagined Sydney Olympic Park as Sydney Olympic City, an area which would now entertain every day, not just when major events took place. My team was awarded with the 'Blue Sky Thinking' award, and were invited to present to a panel of industry stakeholders from the Committee of Sydney and the Sydney Commission. We were then selected by the Committee of Sydney and the Sydney Commission to present at their collaborative event, ‘Shared Spaces’.
