My soul has genuinely been dripping with the ambition to create a better existence for humans since my conscious beginnings. I yearn to heal our planet and human relations with empathy, as I believe nothing and nobody is truly evil but the systems in place that have been created to degrade human dignity and freedom. However, as I have grown older, I have realized that healing the world may be too large a feat for one individual; regardless, my ambitions have not wavered-rather my plan has adjusted. I have come to learn that the most morally correct and efficient means for creating an idealistic version of the world is by the manner of infecting radical progressive ideas.The sentiment always enshrined in my mind is the idea that "to learn is to live, to live is to learn." I truly believe that life is nothing without the capacity to learn, or that without an education life means nothing. It is not possible to create a life of meaning without first understanding the pieces of the greater picture. In other words, we cannot rationally do anything in life without first understanding the many foundational aspects and consequential factors of our behaviors. Even more so, learning provides greater knowledge to increase our understanding of the reality we are experiencing.But most importantly I understand that no matter how much I learn, I will never truly understand anything--this is what feeds my never ending desire for education. As much as I continue to learn, new facts and data will continue to arise that contradict contemporary theories of academia and society-creating new opportunities for growth and progress. For this reason, learning always has and always will be my greatest passion in life; my education is not a chore by any means. I see learning as my ultimate source of freedom and liberation as it is my only true source of knowledge.My first goal out of college is to attend law school to place me on a path where I may advocate for the diverse needs of humans and also to work in a field where I may impact society positively on a grander scale. Even more so, I plan to work with or establish a non-profit organization focused on the intersection between many societal issues and the legislative system.
