With over 10 years FMCG & other marketing experience, working across various blue-chip brands (Cadbury, Heineken, Cobra Beer, Fox's Biscuits & Hasbro Toys) in Ireland & the UK, I made a change back in 2013 and went onto work for Comic Relief in London for 6 wonderful years. My most recent position with Comic Relief was Head of New Business, bringing in all new corporate partners/sponsors for both Red Nose Day and Sport Relief. Just before leaving, I had secured KFC as a long term partner for Comic Relief, committing to £1m per annum of fundraising for at least a period of 3 years. Over my tenure I brought in over £7m of fundraising monies with partners across all sectors including Specsavers, Fitbit, RBS/NatWest, Rimmel London and Weetabix to name a few.I now work as Head of Business Development for Mantra Strategy, a consultancy business which prides itself on putting purpose at the heart of all decision making for our clients. It was a role I gladly took on having made all career decisions based on purpose for the last 10 years.
