Ciara Burnett is currently a Senior at UCF’s Rosen College of Hospitality Management. She is pursuing a career in Event Management with a focus in sports. Ciara has a passion for sports and serving people and she is looking forward to getting involved with a company as passionate for sports and service as she is. Ciara has worked several volunteer events including the Orlando Wedding Expo which was an event for wedding planning including 25 vendors of different areas with over 400 people attending and the Bacchus Bash which was a community driven event to help the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association and local restaurants and hotels, to provide food, fun and entertainment to 20,000 attendees with all proceeds distributed to local college/university scholarships over $100,000. Both events greatly impacted her in being able to see different sides of the industry. Ciara has worked in the hospitality industry for five years now in various jobs including food service, customer service, and retail. Ciara is eager to continue to learn through hands on work in the industry as well as get to work the different aspects of the events she volunteers for.
