I am a Public Relations and Communications Director with over ten years of experience leading marketing and communications strategies for global design and architecture brands. My current areas of focus include: - Leadership: Advancing a team culture of creativity, collaboration, learning, and mentorship. Contributing to overall firm leadership through cross-disciplinary initiatives with owners, principals, directors, and associates to support the firm’s culture, establishing long-term goals and strategies, and creating pathways for team growth and career development. - Content Creation: Developing compelling visual and narrative content for Olson Kundig’s projects, people, and practice.- Public Relations: Building and broadening awareness of the firm’s work, staff, and culture through targeted national and international media relations and coverage. - Social Media: Leading social media strategy for a variety of platforms to create venues for followers to connect with the brand.Volunteering:- Dublin City University Graduate-Student Mentorship Program: For the past number of years, I have been an active member of the DCU mentorship program, where I serve as a mentor for second-year business and marketing students supporting their personal, academic, and career development. I was honored to be awarded "Mentor of the Year" for the 2020/21 program. - Dublin City University Alumni Council: In 2023, I was invited to join the DCU Alumni Council. The Council exists to support and develop the ever-growing alumni community in Ireland and around the world. The Council is comprised of graduate volunteers nominated to represent the association. In this role, I specifically focus on supporting the Graduate-Student Mentorship Program, as well as the International Chapters. - Madame Architect National Council: I am a member of the National Council for Madame Architect, an online magazine celebrating the extraordinary women that shape our world. Madame Architect is dedicated to breaking the architect’s mold and showing young women entering the industry the myriad choices they have in crafting a dynamic, meaningful, and interesting career.- Animal Advocacy: I am passionate about animal advocacy and rescue. I volunteer locally at Seattle Animal Shelter, as well as nationally with Best Friends Animal Society, the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary for homeless animals.
