CurrentCiara is responsible for directing a group of engineers, scientists and other technical staff as they provide professional services in support of air quality and climate change compliance and permitting projects and other related environmental consulting services for ORTECH clients. She provides senior technical and administrative leadership to the staff while expanding ORTECH’s client base, expertise, reputation and capacity in both the Power Group as well as the Compliance and Permitting Group. Ciara’s other responsibilities include:• oversee the management of the technical scope, schedule and budget of all projects being executed by the group• monitor staff execution of general policies and procedures• review, enhance and develop standard operating procedures and methods• train and supervise staff • review proposals, data and reports prepared • provide guidance on provincial and federal air regulatory framework• communicate with regulatory agencies, public and other stakeholders • expand the technical capacity of the team • monitor ongoing performance and lead annual reviews of the staff • facilitate regular group meetings designed to share technical information, workload, business development initiatives• monitor and manage group financial performance
