Initially as a 6 month maternity contract between my first and second year at university, and then continuing part time - I had full responsibility of 2 websites which were updated daily; the corporate CMS website and members only website. This Included liaising with programming and IT departments, communicating with international colleagues, internal and external departments to coordinate the delivery of appropriate content on time. I was responsible for maintaining and updating 6 TV channel (VOD) websites; monthly updates on 3 New Zealand web sites including artwork creation and HTML editing. In addition I promoted the websites through social media including Twitter.

4month Internship. Producing layouts for a monthly magazine. Updating their Website. Done whilst at college undertaking Btec in Graphic Design and gaining a triple distinction.

My son was born in Jan 2001, I couldn’t work early shifts at American Airlines with a young child so I decided to be a stay at home mum whist he was young with a plan to return to school and retrain.

Every element of customer service and passenger crew. I worked at many different departments, check in, the gates, boarding, onboard, airside coordinator and baggage. I had to work to strict deadlines to ensure all flights departed on time. I had to book seats, order special meals, adjust group bookings, meet arriving flights, board departing flights. Attend to customer needs and arrange rescheduling if flights were overbooked or a passenger missed their flight.
