I am a computational and biophysics based protein engineer, who also masquerades as a baker, brewer, and chef. I completed my doctorate through the EPSRC and BBSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Synthetic Biology based in Dr Ann Dixon's group at the university of Warwick. The research was focussed on the design and in depth characterisation of de novo transmembrane protein interactions and membrane sensitivity. Making use of in-vitro biophysical methods alongside computational design and dynamics tools including GROMACS, Rosetta and Alpha Fold.
