CurrentResponsibilities:- Building and maintaining of Content Distribution Networks for Transmission and Third party Vendors.- Organise work and execute tasks as dictated by the daily schedule of events. - Actively participate in maintaining and updating the event schedule.- Perform pre-event technical checks such as: establish all incoming sources from remote sites.- Perform QC check for all incoming and outgoing signals (adjust and set levels to reference.- Perform video/audio sync, execute any format conversions and troubleshoot.- Report, escalate (if needed) and correct any issues. - Route signals to internal operating destinations. - Execute live content delivery for external stakeholders such as assigned content partners such as Twitch, Facebook, Youtube and any other distribution partner worldwide and monitor throughout the production.- Coordinate any additional services, such as language versioning or live closed captioning, and integrate the CC stream into the program feed as necessary.- Coordinate the event logging effort (descriptive metadata) for live events is performed and oversee the extraction of administrative and structural metadata for each asset is done within the stated timeline. - - - Oversee and perform post-event highlight ingest/transfers, coordinate the "goodnighting" of transmission services. - Normalise plant, make final metadata entries, and general clean-up. - Facilitate seamless hand-off to other RBCs. - Maintain accurate and timely entries into the event’s log throughout the event. - An understanding of the conversion of baseband video to a compressed video format to facilitate delivery across a variety of networks and platforms.
