I am currently in the prosses of doing an electrical apprenticeship I am currently on phase 2 and doing well and enjoying it I am also studying online part time to get a Certificate in Revit and 4D BIM (Building Information Modelling) I currently have a Diploma in Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics at Galway - Mayo Institute of Technology. I have skills in BIM, Project management, Health and safety, Measurement & Estimating, Contracts. I have excellent communication and team working skills which I have developed through group projects and my time spent in industry. My interest in the construction industry started when I was young I would work with my father building masonry and stone walls and assisted my uncle with a large verity of construction related work which firmed my belief that I wanted to work in the construction Industry. So far Quantity Surveying, BIM, and Electrical works were the professions that appealed to me and maybe I will venture into a few more as I have always enjoyed expanding my knowledge in the stuff I finding interesting and enjoy.

My roles consisted of construction and ground works, working on an extension that was being added to a house. I helped make and put up the roof joists and rafters, install lintels and new window panels. During my period in Wexford my roles consisted of erecting pylons for Galetec unities (ESB) installing the base of the pylons and the steel frame into the foundations to level square off pylon. Shuttering and pouring of the foundation. Following completion of the pylons I helped prepare a site and brought it up to subfloor level.
