Louth Internet Radio was established in June 2011 and is solely Internet based. In my position, I was responsible for everything that was broadcasted live on air, whilst ensuring it is of the highest quality. I was also responsible for creating the stations’ time-table and organising presenters’ schedules. My other duties included:• Producing the first show of the day, including working the sound desk.• Updating and managing the LIR website; including the podcasting previous shows, writing articles and creating polls.• Line up and queue any pre-recorded shows or repeats, to be broadcast in the afternoon.• Researching topics for presenters.• Dealing with questions/requests from the public via text, email and social media.• Posting regular updates on Facebook and Twitter to publicise the various shows, competitions and events within the station. • Organising special broadcasts; I have organised a project with a local venue (The Spirit Store), where LIR broadcast live from gigs. We also incorporated live chat and interviews from the bands before and after the show.

The company offers clients full use of its facilities to complete all the processes in post-production of Documentaries, Feature Films and TV shows. I started with the company as a Runner. My duties included:• Meeting and greeting high profile clients and ensuring their needs were catered for whilst on-site.• Delivering tapes to various production companies around Dublin. • Booking couriers to deliver tapes to RTE.• Covering busy reception at lunch time and afternoon. • Opening and locking up – I was entrusted with keys and alarm codes.As I rose through the company, I was promoted to the position of Librarian. In this position, I was responsible for all Tapes, Hard drives and Reels in the company. These included Masters, Graphics Tapes, Rushes, Show Reels and compilations. My other duties included:• Tape Pull; When a senior editor needed to reload all tapes onto the system, it was my responsibility to locate the tapes, which could be up to 50 or 60 DV cam tapes and deliver them to the copy room.• Liaising with other production companies and organising the collection and distribution of Tapes and Hard drives via couriers.• Documentation and categorisation of any new Tapes or Hard Drives which came into the company.• Log in/out of all tapes, which were in use throughout the facility.
