I have been a Positioning Specialist in various seismic operations with several companies since 1997. I started as a trainee Navigator and have progressed to Navigator, then Shift Leader Navigator and in 2008 I became Chief Navigator. The majority of my experience is in OBC and Transition Zone operations in many different locations and in varying degrees of water depth from Transition Zone in the Caspian Sea and Mexico to deep water in the North Sea and Trinidad. I have also spent just over a year on various streamer vessels from a 4-6 multistreamer vessel to single streamer 2D. Throughout my seismic career I have been involved in small boat operations from Zodiac Coxswain in the Caspian Sea to Streamer & OBC workboat Coxswain in the GOM as well as surf zone cable positioning and scouting in Coatzacoalcos Mexico. Aswell as being a Navigator I have been a dedicated FRC and workboat Coxswain since 1999. in 2018 I became Party Chief in Magseis and have been lucky to lead crews on node on cable, node on a rope, ROV node deployment and seismic source vessels since then.
