The company employs over 300 employees and has a purpose built premises located in Drogheda.The company purchases raw materials from over 200 suppliers each month.My duty is to ensure we meet our payment terms agreed with every one of them in order to ensure stock can continue to be ordered and delivered on a daily basis.My main duties are to;Review and verify invoices Sort, code and match invoices Set invoices up for paymentEnter and upload invoices into systemTrack expenses and process expense reportsPrepare and process electronic transfers and paymentsPrepare and perform cheque runsPost transactions to journals, ledgers and other recordsReconcile accounts payable transactionsPrepare analysis of accountsMonitor accounts to ensure payments are up to dateResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issuesCorrespond with vendors and respond to queriesProduce weekly and monthly sales reports for the board of directorsRecord and monitor weekly water,electricity and gas usageAssist with month end closingProvide supporting documentation for auditsManage and report on the petty cash account monthly
