Site Project Engineer
This role was initially based at the Condabri South Gas Processing Facility one of the seven GPF’s part of the larger APLNG project. Representing the client “Origin Energy” as a SMP Engineer my main responsibility was to ensure construction at Condabri South was in adherence with project specifications and to assist the Project Delivery Manager with managing the budget and schedule. Role specifics included: Managing Free Issue Material (FIM) work scope, assist in managing vendor supplied Technical Field Advisors (TFAs) for assigned equipment packages, reviewing Principal Contractor ITR’s/FIC’s, performing onsite inspections, technical support for piping alignment activities, signoff on the Mechanical Completion Dossiers (MCD’s), managing site technical queries and expediting responses, issuing site instructions, mentoring site graduate engineers, performing Tri-party walkdown’s and to facilitate smooth handover into the commissioning and operations phases.
