Part & Full time Cashier Position during college and summer break-Giving information about odds-Taking payments for bets-Paying out winnings to customers-Balancing the takings after the shop closes for the day-Making sure that the shop's satellite TV and video systems are working correctly-Operating the computerised betting and till systems-Checking that digital display boards are showing the correct betting odds and results-Keeping the shop well stocked with betting slips, pens and up-to-date odds sheets-Explaining different betting permutations to customers-Giving information about other products, such as overseas lottery tickets-Reporting any suspicious betting patterns or under-age gambling to the shop manager.-Good knowledge of sporting activities

-Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.-Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.-Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.-Perform buying duties when necessary.-Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.-Review requisition orders in order to verify accuracy, terminology, and specifications.
