Stepped up to take responsibility for organising the Engineering team (thirteen people) after the departure of the project lead. Responsibilities include: - Development in C#, .NET, Postgresql. - System design/architecture/evolution of a microservice ecosystem. - Creation, maintenance, and support of multiple Kubernetes environments. - Release management, operational and customer support. - Organisation and training of development team to work in Sprint and Kanban.

Luxoft is a software engineering and consulting provider. Hired by Luxoft as a software engineer and working ‘on-site’ for a major Swiss Bank. Helped design, develop, deploy and support a new integration with counterparty banks in Italy. Took more responsibility to become Team Lead and Scrum Master. Led the setup of a new team and drove the requirements gathering to develop the teams backlog for 2021. Responsibilities include: - Development in Kotlin, Java, Spring, React. - Creation of Unit/Integration Tests. - Mentoring, training of development team. - Initially organising the team and then helping the team to self-organise in an agile way. - Driving the team to become self-reliant and take responsibility for practices, standards, design, etc. - Gathering requirements for current/future, refining the backlog, building the team.

PassportCard is a travel insurance provider.Joined as the founding engineer of a new development team in Zurich. Responsibilities include working on the maintenance and extension of PassportCards CRM system, Ensure (ASP.NET, C#, T-SQL), helping to build and manage the new development team in Zurich.

Axpo Trading is an energy trading and origination company owned by the Axpo Group, based in Baden.Helped with the maintenance and extension of the Corporate Market Data Pool and assisted traders. Built a Market Data License Management solution integrated with Active Directory and other internal systems. Helped launch a new, agile (Scrum) Web Development team to build a new Customer Portal for the origination side of the business.Responsibilities include:• Working with traders, product owners, project managers and other stakeholders to elicit requirements. • Design, development, maintenance and extension of SQL 2014/16 databases. (CMDP, MDLM, Customer Portal). Providing training and guidance to teammates in database design. • Development of REST APIs and integrations to connect systems (internal and external) using C#/.NET Framework/.NET Core.• Developing User Interfaces (AngularJS/Angular2) for both internal originators and customers.

Also partially involved with IT support.Responsibilities include:• Working with Fund Accountants/Investor Services to define projects for implementation.• Developing/maintaining WinForms applications in C#/T-SQL.• Integration of two accounting systems with custom applications/processes using C# Windows Services, Web Services, SSIS.• IT Support including Active Directory administration, network support, virtualisation, etc.

Daon is a provider of biometric identity management solutions.Responsibilities primarily consist of travelling to customer sites to deploy the companies’ products, developing custom tools, enhancements and troubleshooting. Participated in two significant projects to date: “Who Am I Online” (South Africa, 6 months) and “Aadhaar/UID” (India, since July 2010).Responsibilities include:• Developing/bug fixing applications in Java and C# utilising Spring(.NET).• Deploying, configuring and troubleshooting environments with and without Puppet.• Acting as liaison between customer and Dublin for bug lists/fixes.• Biometric quality/accuracy analysis.• Developing BQA tools in C++ and Java/Spring.

Responsibilities included:• Developing the product, primarily using C#, ASP.NET, SQL. • Revising requirements, functional specifications and design documents.• Managing the build process for the product.• Maintaining installation documentation.• Researching and implementing coding standards and practices.• Organising development environment.• Scoping, advising on and assisting virtualisation.

Responsibilities primarily consisted of black box testing of the companies’ two product families, the Mobile Service Manager and the Condor Application Server. The Condor Application Server enables viewing and printing documents from a BlackBerry device.
