WelTec is one of New Zealand's leading providers of applied vocational education and training.I was primarily involved in developing WelTec's brand identity, design, and creative direction for all internal and external marketing collateral, alongside coordinating student attraction campaigns, Examples of creative responsibilities include:Brand Identity guidelines. While based in Wellington for studies, I have been involved in a number of design projects that include brand identity development for Te Namu Timber, D&G Consulting, The Fire Demon book series, 3Retail, Bite Gourmet Bar, In Good Company, and others.I have also had the privilege of photographing 3 weddings, Illuminate Paint Parties, and Wellington on a Plate.

PASIV provides a platform that allows employers to source and connect with screened and vetted candidates, whether they be passive, active or anywhere in-between.I was involved with Pasiv's web design, and other graphic projects that include responsive email templates, social media and user interface.

During my 3rd and 4th years at Massey I have been involved with OpenLab, an on-campus design studio that employs advanced students to gain industry experience.I have been involved in creating graphic content for LAWA (Land Air Water Aotearoa) and creating the brand identity for 'The Silver Underground' - a Warhol themed event for which I produced some of my favourite photography to date.I have also assisted the facilitation of experience workshops for younger students, and the Palmerston North Council regarding their student culture.I gained a lot from these roles that include time management, creation of reverse briefs, and client engagement.

I have a passion for technology, customer engagement, sales and marketing. Noel Leeming places emphasis towards its customer service, an area where I thrive.This position has given me significant insight toward managing stock and relevant POS, a thorough comprehension of sales strategies and confidence negotiating packages around profit margins. Working in the technology department often meant bartering large figure sales, cash handing and having to maintain knowledge and be able to demonstrate the latest technology and software advancements.

This was my first experience in sales, learning marketing strategy, customer management and closing techniques. Additionally I was trained in hire purchase arrangements and commercial leasing. I achieved significant results, live-wire status within my first year, later being transferred to Wellingtons most successful store for the duration of my studies. While working under store manager Phil Rees, I also began brand development for his retail consultancy company, 3Retail. During this time I also became successful at cold calls and client management.

Anxious Entertainment is a small business in Wellington that co-ordinates gigs, and operates an in-house design team. Among others, a highlight of working with the Anxious Entertainment team was photographing the Circus Records tour of New Zealand, which was an exciting progression of my existing event photography experience. As the senior photographer I managed assistant photographers to ensure all activity was covered.

It was an amazing experience to be involved in one of Queenstown's biggest festivals for 2 years in a row. During this time the population tripples, and the town is a frenzied blur of excited tourists with a local thrown in every now and then. I was responsible for photographing daily events and activities, capturing the excitement of the town. Of course this also entailed significant post production, a process I am proficient in. Several of these photos have been published and used as promotional material since! One of my favourites jobs, and places in the world.
