As the Operations Manager at Beagans Limited, I oversee the full day-to-day operations of the business, I spearhead strategic planning and operational development, focusing on the introduction of new technologies and procedures to enhance our company's efficiency and customer satisfaction. My role encompasses the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with the companies vision and complete Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) compliance.Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Assessing current and future needs of the company, with a special emphasis on integrating new technology and procedures.- Process Implementation: Developing and implementing SOPs and KPIs to streamline operations and ensure AEO compliance.- Systems Integration: Collaborating with staff to enhance and automate company systems, particularly customs platforms, invoicing, and credit control, ensuring seamless workflow from customs document creation to invoice upload.- Regulatory Compliance: Staying abreast of Customs Rules and Regulations, and other relevant authorities, ensuring company-wide and client-specific compliance.- Staff Support and Development: Providing direct assistance to all staff on operational matters, allocating work, and resolving issues efficiently. Assisting with recruitment, staff training, and implementation of training programs to enhance procedural knowledge and skills.- Team Coordination: Working closely with the Export and Import Teams to monitor, allocate, and organise jobs, improving transparency and information accessibility within the team.
