With more than a decade of experience as an educational leader, including five years of success building international schools across the world, I’ve built a reputation of excellence in the areas of school governance, accreditation, planning, curriculum review, and assessment.Currently serving as the Head of Academics (FP) at the United World College, Changshu, China, I oversee the academic programming and progress of 200 students. During my tenure, the school’s Foundation Program continued an upward trajectory of success for a record number of local students who successfully gained admission to the full IBDP in year 11. I take pride in my ability to create healthy organizations built on trust and transparency in which all team members are focused on accomplishing established goals. I am a strong problem solver, planner, and coach, and emphasis on anticipating and remediating potential roadblocks to success.My passion for travel and appreciation for global cultures set my career trajectory, and the opportunity to build on my strong education and teaching crediting paved a solid path to my current position. I enjoy the challenges of bringing innovative, forward-thinking educational strategies to worldwide communities. I feel fortunate to play a role in providing educational opportunities for students who otherwise may not have the option to experience American-based education.As an adult, I have lived in China, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Vietnam, and my American home in Washington State.
