As the sole manager of social media at Visit Tampa Bay, I create and actualize a constantly evolving digital strategy to optimize the reach and presence of Visit Tampa Bay. In a PR capacity, I work to vet influencers to find the right fit for our destination. From there I communicate with visiting influencers and journalists to craft personalized itineraries and ensure an excellent experience in Tampa Bay.In 2018 I collaborated with the Visit Tampa Bay PR team to conceptualize, curate, execute and edit Tampa Bay's destination cookbook, Tampa's Table: A Culinary Journey Through Tampa Bay. Work on this project included selecting notable local restaurants, sourcing recipes, hiring a photographer, story boarding recipes, soliciting editorial content and working with a local printer for final execution. The book was released in November 2018. In addition to using Tampa's Table as a PR piece to promote visitation, it can be found in numerous retail establishments throughout Tampa Bay, including Oxford Exchange, Tampa International Airport, La Segunda, Blind Tiger, Brew Bus and the Unlock Tampa Bay Visitors Center.Work as a producer to manage video production companies and organize the creation of a variety of videos using new technology (360 video production, drones, etc.) intended to activate Visit Tampa Bay's brand and promote visitation to the area.Act as inventory specialist to design and source exciting, interesting inventory for the new Visit Tampa Bay visitor's center.Manage the use of ads to effectively increase reach and audience using paid promotions on social media and ensure each dollar is spent wisely by carefully tracking analytics and return on investment.Manage relationships with community partners and stakeholders to work together to showcase all that Tampa Bay has to offer.
