Undertaking the study of a Biomedical Engineering degree has only propelled my ambition to establish a career in this field and I am keen to work in an environment that is challenging, skill proficient based and which allows me to benefit the lives of others. Through my degree, I have studied a range of modules which have emphasised the importance of quality management, completing assigned tasks in a timely, professional manner and improving my ability to problem solve in a logical and sequential approach. These are transferable skills that would enable me to quickly adapt to any dynamic workplace environment. My ability to communicate for purpose, prioritise work and work effectively and efficiently in a group will aid me in making a meaningful contribution to any company. In addition to my academic, practical and technical learning, my career aim has been confirmed by my work with individuals that have special needs. Many of these individuals have complex medical needs, requiring a range of medical devices for everyday life, and I see first-hand the positive impact these devices have on their quality of life.
