My role also included liaising with government ministries and agencies and 26 Liberian diplomatic missions abroad as well as mission accredited near Monrovia. In this position, I witnessed firsthand the peaceful political transition from one democratic government to another in Liberia for the first time in 73 years.

In my role, I attended weekly panel co-chairs meetings at technical team level, tracked events and meetings at the UNHQ, and drafted reports to send to home office. Drafted the Ambassador's briefing to the General Assembly after the High Level Panel Meeting in Monrovia in February 2013. I participated in the negotiations of the Open working Group on Sustainable Development Goals providing analysis of countries statements and drafting Liberia's statements. Show less
