Cibele Machado works as a Biotechnology Manager responsible for the molecular markers’ activities at the Cravinhos R&D Biotechnology Lab Center at LongPing High-Tech. She earned a Ph.D. degree in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Guelph (Canada) and a M.S. degree in Seed Science and Technology from the University of São Paulo (Brazil). She has experience with bioinformatics, gene and protein expression analysis, general biotechnology methods, and seed testing. She has eleven years experience using molecular marker-approaches to assist in plant breeding programs at Dow AgroSciences, and two years experience as a research associate at the molecular genetics laboratory at Syngenta Seeds in Brazil.
