Project List: EnglishClients: Six Red Marbles, QBS• Writing and editing manuscript (include art/photo specs)• Revising manuscript based on client feedback• Editing 3-page rounds --- first pass, final pass, and printer PDF passes (include art/photo selection and review and selection/review of replacement images as needed)• Incorporating feedback at each page pass• Checking final pass against 1 pp foul• Checking printer PDF pass against final pass foul and checking corrected pages in printer PDF pass• Write lessons and Unit Introductions/Overviews for online ELA program following guidelines and sample material provided. • Follow the P/L/U/S structure outlined in guidelines provided• Provide new content as required for each lesson, ensuring appropriateness to guidelines, grade level, and standards• Review and include OERs where applicable and where they enhance student engagement • Select assessment items from those supplied by Pearson in order to fulfill the project guidelines; write new assessment items as required and in accordance with the guidelines • Develop student projects and rubrics that meet the key standards outlined in the scope and sequence, ensuring that projects connect to the content of the lessons within a unit • Provide Teaching Notes as specified in the guidelines • Ensure that content provided meets the pacing outlined for each day, lesson, and unit • Write content using the tools specified in the guidelines (which may include writing/authoring in Word and the client CMS and Learnosity, if required) and following the client’s structure for the course • Revise submitted manuscript/content that does not fulfill the project guidelines or specs as directed by the project’s editor/s and content lead

Read an assigned book. Then critique the plot, the style of writing, elements of the story, etc., to give the reader an indication as to whether they would enjoy the book. Including the critique in a written review that tells the reader about the book, writing in such a way as to interest the reader, but not give away the plot.
